Ala-ud-Din Academy, Girls High School (ALDA) has a library stocked with books and writings of famous authors. Storybooks and general knowledge encyclopedias are also available for young children. The purpose of the library is to instill the habit of reading in young students. This habit makes them more creative and helps them to make informed choices with a better decision-making power.
All students from 4th to 10th classes are issued library cards. This card enables them to issue books from the library. Each book is issued for 15 days and should be returned by the specified period, otherwise there is fine of Rs.5/- per day. If the book is damaged then the student will have to pay the full price of that book.
Note: There is no library security or advance deposit.
